  • 2 large Bananas Firm-ripe, sliced into 3/4 inch rounds
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar 25g
  • 1 tbsp Granulated White Sugar 12g
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon 1g
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter 14g, melted
  • 2 tbsp Walnuts 15g, crushed
  • 1 tsp Black Sesame Seeds 3g
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt

  • 1 Air Fryer Basket style preferred
  • 1 Parchment paper For easy cleanup

Instructions
 

Preparation
  1. Slice firm-ripe bananas into thick rounds. Toss gently in a bowl with melted butter until fully coated.
  2. In a small ramekin, mix brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Sprinkle over the buttered bananas and add the crushed walnuts, tossing to coat.
Air Frying
  1. Place banana rounds in a single layer in the air fryer basket lined with parchment paper.
  2. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 6-8 minutes until the sugar is bubbling and the centers look translucent.
  3. Transfer to a ceramic dish, pour over the remaining syrup from the basket, and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.

Notes

Ensure bananas are firm to prevent them from falling apart.
Wait 60 seconds before serving for the sugar crust to harden properly.
