Ingredients

Recipe Ingredients
  • 20 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini 567g
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil divided (30ml total)
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese 25g
  • 1 tsp dried oregano 1g
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley 8g, finely chopped
  • 1 cup marinara sauce 240ml, for dipping

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer Basket style preferred
  • 1 Large Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Microplane or Fine Grater For the parmesan dusting

Instructions

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large bowl, toss the tortellini with 1.5 tablespoons of olive oil, dried oregano, salt, and half the parmesan until evenly coated with a light sheen.
  2. Place tortellini in the air fryer basket at 375°F (190°C). Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking at the halfway point until edges are golden-brown and blistered.
  3. Transfer to a bowl, top with remaining parmesan and fresh parsley. Serve with marinara sauce drizzled with the remaining olive oil.

Notes

Do not crowd the basket to ensure the air can circulate and create the crunchy blistered edges.
Use refrigerated pasta rather than dried for the best textural results.
