Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 lbs, pounded to 1/2-inch thickness
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese plus more for garnish
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Equipment

  • 1 Large Skillet
  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Whisk

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (165°F).
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
  5. Serve the sliced chicken drizzled with the Caesar dressing, or toss the chicken in the dressing to coat. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Tip 1: For the juiciest chicken, use a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 165°F without overcooking.
Tip 2: Grating your own Parmesan cheese from a block will result in a much better flavor and texture for the sauce.
Tip 3: For a baked version, place seasoned chicken in a baking dish, top with the dressing, and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.
