- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- Place approximately 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each crescent from the wide end to the point. Place on the prepared baking sheet, point-side down.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg with 1 teaspoon of water. Brush the mixture over the tops of the crescent rolls.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Remove from the oven and immediately brush with melted butter. Serve warm.
Notes
Tip 1: Don't overfill the crescent rolls to prevent the chocolate from leaking during baking.
Tip 2: For an extra crunch, sprinkle coarse sugar over the egg wash before baking.
