Ingredients

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 large biscuits) Such as Pillsbury Grands!
  • 2 sticks low-moisture mozzarella string cheese Cut into 4 pieces each, for 8 total pieces.
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Baking dish or pie plate A 9-inch dish works well.
  • 1 Small Bowl For melting the garlic butter.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch pie plate or a small baking sheet. Separate the 8 biscuits.
  2. Gently press each biscuit into a 3-inch circle.
  3. Place one piece of mozzarella cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit. Pull the dough edges up and over the cheese, pinching firmly to seal. Roll into a smooth ball.
  4. Place the dough balls seam-side down in the prepared dish. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Brush half of this mixture over the tops of the dough balls.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  6. As soon as they come out of the oven, brush with the remaining garlic butter. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Serve immediately for the best experience.

Notes

Tip 1: Ensure a tight seal on the dough to prevent the cheese from leaking out during baking.
Tip 2: For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
Tip 3: Serve with a side of warm marinara sauce for dipping.
