- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the uncooked pork sausage, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, baking mix, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Using your hands or a stand mixer, mix the ingredients until just combined. Do not overwork the mixture.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them about an inch apart on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Allow to cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a serving platter. Serve warm.
Notes
For the best results, use room temperature sausage and cream cheese for easier mixing.
