- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pour both cans of sliced peaches, including the syrup, into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the top of the peaches. Do not stir.
- Arrange the thin slices of butter evenly over the surface of the cake mix.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbly.
- Let cool for 15 minutes before serving. This allows the filling to set slightly.
Notes
For an extra touch of flavor, sprinkle a teaspoon of cinnamon over the peaches before adding the cake mix.
