Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup 29 oz cans, do not drain
  • 1 box yellow cake mix approximately 15.25 oz
  • 1/2 cup salted butter 1 stick, cut into thin slices

Instructions
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pour both cans of sliced peaches, including the syrup, into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the top of the peaches. Do not stir.
  4. Arrange the thin slices of butter evenly over the surface of the cake mix.
  5. Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbly.
  6. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving. This allows the filling to set slightly.
